In our TaoTronics TT-BH090 Review, we are going to take a look at a pair of over-ear headphones. The headphones have been built to be used wirelessly and also provide noise-cancelling features.

TaoTronics TT-BH090 Build Quality

The TaoTronics TT-BH090 wireless over-ear headphones come in a lovely premium looking box. Inside the box, you can find the headphones and a very nice case that has been designed to be able to house the headphones when they are not in use. On the back of the case, you can find a company logo that is embroidered which is a nice touch.

The headphones have been made with a combination of hard and soft plastics finished very nicely, and there is a headband pad that has been made from a soft material. The headphones feature a set of memory foam earpads that provide an outstanding level of comfort. They also feature an internal microphone so you can use them for making calls on your smartphone or tablet.

TaoTronics TT-BH090 Noise Cancellation

The TaoTronics TT-BH090 wireless over-ear headphones feature active noise cancellation, which means that they are going to be able to cancel out any external noises. This is going to be useful if you find yourself travelling on public transport or in an environment where there are lots of external noises. The headphones feature noise-cancelling technology that has been built into the ear cups as well as in the headband. This means that when you are using them, you will be able to cancel out those external noises and enjoy your favorite music tracks without any interference.

The TaoTronics TT-BH090 wireless over-ear headphones feature a pretty standard design. The headphones are designed to be used on the move, and they certainly feel like they are going to be able to withstand the knocks that are going to be dished out. That said, the headphones are not the most portable as they do not fold up, and they are not the smallest by any means.

The headphones do, however, feature a folding mechanism that means that you can store them in their included case. The headband features a soft leather padded area which is excellent as it helps to ensure that the headphones remain comfortable when you are wearing them for prolonged periods. The ear cups themselves swivel back and forth so you can adjust them to suit your needs. Each ear cup also features a small ring with a large TaoTronics logo on it; this might be something that some people like and others don’t, but it does look good.

They also feature a headband that has been built with soft leather and stitched padding. This means that you should find them very comfortable and they should provide a good level of support too.

The TaoTronics TT-BH090 wireless over-ear headphones have been designed with a lot of features in mind. They have been built with Bluetooth 4.1 technology, so they are going to be great for pairing up with your smartphone or tablet and taking calls on it too.

They have also been built with NFC technology so you can pair the headphones up with your device quickly and easily if it has NFC technology built-in. The headphones have been designed to provide 16 hours of playback time which is more than enough for most people, and this is also helped by the fact that they feature fast charging technology which means that even when you get down close to running out of battery, they will charge up again in just three hours.

TaoTronics TT-BH090 Battery Life

The TaoTronics TT-BH090 wireless over-ear headphones come with an impressive battery life of 16 hours. This is more than enough for most people who will probably only use these for listening at home or commuting while traveling or at work. Still, if you do run out, then you can recharge them very quickly as they only take three hours to charge up completely and allow up to two hours playback time after only three minutes charging time! Indeed, this is not the fastest charging time around.

For most people, this will be plenty, and it’s way faster than any other wireless headphone system available right now (the only one close is Sony’s new 1000X M3 which charges quicker but is still an hour slower than TaoTronics). And unlike many other wireless headphone systems on the market, TaoTronics’ headphones also feature fast charging technology, meaning you can get two hours playback after just 10 minutes charging.

How do the TaoTronics TT-BH090 sound

The TaoTronics TT-BH090 offer several different sound settings that allow the user to alter the sound to suit their listening style. The headphones have been built to deliver high-quality audio that can be adjusted depending on your usage. There are settings for watching movies, playing games, listening to music and talking on the phone.

The noise-cancelling feature in the TaoTronics TT-BH090 is designed to reduce external noise, which allows the user to listen to their music without any distractions. The noise-cancelling feature in the TaoTronics TT-BH090 works by using a microphone which picks up ambient noise before an equalizer then cancels it out.

When you first use the TaoTronics TT-BH090, you will need to set up noise cancelling. To do this you will need to plug them into your computer via USB, and then open up your systems sound settings. Once there you select the TaoTronics TT-BH090 as your default playback device. By doing this, it will allow the microphone in the headphones to work correctly.

What about wireless?

The TaoTronics TT-BH090 are very easy to connect wirelessly, and once connected, you can stream audio from any Bluetooth enabled device that is within range of the headphones without any issues. The headphones have a very good wireless range and worked well when tested out in our office and at home. The wireless range was also tested when walking around outside in our garden. As long as there were no significant obstructions between the headphones and our Galaxy Note 2 smartphone, we were able to keep streaming audio with no interruptions or dropouts.

What about a microphone?

As mentioned above, there is a microphone on board the TaoTronics TT-BH090 that allows you to make hands free calls when connected directly into your phone or tablet’s 3.5mm headphone jack. If you’re using them wirelessly with your smartphone or tablet, then you can use them with Skype or any other voice calling apps that are available on Android or iOS devices.

What about wireless gaming?

One of the main selling points of these headphones is their ability to be used for gaming without having to worry about being tied down by a cable that would restrict movement when trying out new moves.

We were able to get into some intense matches of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 online without any issues thanks in part thanks to these headphones ability to provide robust, distortion-free audio at high volumes.

Should I buy the TaoTronics TT-BH090?

The TaoTronics TT-BH090 are a great pair of wireless headphones that are built to last and provide excellent sound performance with an exceptional wireless range and extraordinary noise cancelling features. They are also made to be very comfortable to wear and have a handy built-in microphone so they can be used with your smartphone or tablet.
